Burak Aluminum’s foundry has an annual capacity of 15,000 tons and is equipped with modern and controlled production systems for high-quality billet production. The facility features two melting furnaces, one homogenization furnace, and one cooling chamber, enabling efficient and high-standard production.
Using the DC (Direct Chill) casting method, we produce both standard alloys (1050, 1070, 1350, 5757, 6005, 6005A, 6060, 6061, 6063, 6082, 6463) and custom alloys upon request, in accordance with EN 573-3. The billets are cast in 5″, 6″, 7″, and 8″ diameters and up to 6000 mm in length.
Spectral analysis is conducted before and after casting. Samples taken from molten metal and post-alloying are analyzed with spectrometers to verify chemical composition. Final product samples are also tested to ensure quality assurance.
